DWBN events are designed to bring women together in a supportive, welcoming space to connect, learn and share real conversations. Whether the focus is education, networking or community, our events are grounded in practical insights, meaningful connection and the shared experience of women in business across Dubbo and the Central West.
We all know collaboration can open doors in business… but knowing how to actually create something meaningful together is a different story.
This month’s meeting is designed to help you move from “we should do something together” to actually making it happen.
Melissa will kick things off with a short, practical session to guide you through creating aligned, strategic collaborations. You’ll explore how to identify the right opportunities, connect with the right people, and shape ideas that benefit everyone involved.
Then we get to work.
The rest of the session is a supported co-working space where you can:
✨ Start building a collaboration
✨ Refine an existing idea
✨ Get feedback and input from the room
✨ Or focus on a task you’ve been putting off
This is your chance to step out of the thinking phase and into action, surrounded by women who are doing the same. Come with an idea, or come open to one, either way, you’ll leave with clarity, momentum, and something tangible underway.
Melissa Woodward is a business owner of 12+ years, co-founder of DWBN, and the kind of person who loves having business strategy conversations mid-massage (because apparently, breakthroughs don’t wait for a boardroom).
Through building Fearless Health and mentoring women in business, Melissa has developed a deep understanding of what it actually takes to grow something sustainable, without burning yourself out in the process (oh but she's been close).
She’s known for cutting through the noise, sharing practical insights, and helping women see the bigger picture in their business.
While she doesn’t carry the title of “business coach”, she’s supported countless women through pivots, decisions, and those “what am I even doing?” moments… often while elbow-deep in someone’s upper traps.
Melissa also brings a very honest perspective on collaboration, including the mistakes that can happen when you’re a recovering perfectionist who cannot let a project fail and somehow ends up doing most of the work. (Yes, she’s talking about herself.)
Her approach is simple: share what works, learn from what doesn’t, and create spaces where women can actually move forward in their business, not just talk about it.
