Not every business owner has a stage, but every woman in business has a story.
This August, DWBN is mixing things up with a special Member Hot Seat morning – a chance to spotlight some of the incredible women in our network who haven’t yet had the chance to present. Whether they’re behind a customer-facing business or simply not the “public speaking” type, these women have so much to share.
Each guest will have 10 minutes in the hot seat to answer your questions – from why they started, what challenges they’ve overcome, to the surprising lessons they’ve learnt along the way.
It’s a warm, supportive format that celebrates connection, curiosity, and the everyday brilliance in our community. Come ready to listen, learn and lift each other up.

This month, we’re doing things a little differently and keeping you on your toes!
Instead of one set speaker, we’re putting a few of our amazing members in the Hot Seat and trust us, the line-up is as diverse as it is delightful. You might hear from a Speech Therapist, Nail Artist, Doula, Lactation Consultant, Aromatouch Practitioner, or even the General Manager of a local Golf Club (or their right-hand woman!).
These women may not usually grab the mic, but they’ve got real stories, unique perspectives, and plenty of wisdom to share.
